As a Solar Power Installer you will install rooftop and ground mount photovoltaic arrays on our customers' residences and businesses and perform minor construction for ground rack systems. Past experience working on rooftops will ensure that you adhere to appropriate safety standards for heights, lifting, ladders and scaffolding. Essential Responsibilities
- Assist installation crews in all aspects of residential and commercial solar electric systems including mounting of rooftop racking systems, photovoltaic modules and applicable electrical equipment according to engineering plans
- Communicate with the customer as needed to address questions and concerns and ensure 100% customer satisfaction
- Communicate with Installation Manager to address installation issues and coordinate additional field and corporate resources
- Perform installation of electrical wiring of systems
- Perform minor construction work for ground rack systems
- Perform work according to building plan requirements
- Troubleshoot PV systems and recommend alternative solutions to ensure proper installations
- Ensure trucks are stocked with appropriate tools, parts and equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Schedule and staff inspections
- Call Sun Run and/or Enphase as required to activate meter and commission systems
- Complete field verification forms and photograph completed installation site
- Complete daily report
- Perform additional duties as assigned and/or directed

Qualifications/Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 5 years construction, or electrical experience required, preferably in Lead or Foreman role, roofing experience preferred
- Familiarity with applicable Photovoltaic NEC Codes preferred
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record (required)
- C-10 License preferred
- Comfortable with ladder and scaffolding work; No fear of heights
