Robert L. Wallace | Chief Executive Officer

Robert L. Wallace is an accomplished engineer, entrepreneur, author, business consultant, and internationally-known keynote speaker. He is the founder of three companies - Bithenergy, Inc., BITHGROUP Technologies, Inc., and EntreTeach Learning Systems, LLC. Bithenergy, Inc. is a dynamic energy engineering and management company that develops and implements energy management, energy efficiency, and renewable energy solutions for government and commercial clients.

BITHGROUP Technologies, Inc. is a successful information technology services company that specializes in mobile commerce solutions, health information systems, infrastructure IT services, wireless engineering, and biometrics. Later, Mr. Wallace founded EntreTeach Learning Systems, LLC, through which he conducts economic research and has authored five top-selling books that provide unique solutions for addressing the challenges facing small, women-owned, and minority-owned companies.

Robert L. Wallace earned his MBA from Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Engineering. He also served as Chairperson for the State of Maryland Information Technology Board (ITB), the Governor’s Advanced Technology Commission, Small Business Task Force, Minority Business Task Force, Greater Baltimore Committee, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Presidents Roundtable, and the BRAC Commission. 


Coretta Bennett | Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Bennett oversees the day-to-day operations, strengthens B2B relationships, implements corporate initiatives in energy production and management, and provides oversight of investors and financial institutions. Her strong background and 17-year tenure in strategic planning, business development and finance, coupled with her extensive knowledge of project management, and engineering provide a strong foundation for her to lead Bithenergy's strategic growth. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she is a graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. Ms. Bennett earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Morgan State University, an MBA in Strategic Business Policy and Finance from Rutgers University, and is a LEED Accredited Professional BD+C.


R. Daniel Wallace | director of Technical Sales

Mr. Wallace is an energy engineering professional with more than eleven years of relevant experience in energy engineering, renewable energy systems development, program management, financing strategy, systems implementation and integration, and operations and maintenance (O&M). Mr. Wallace has developed and managed more than 25MW of renewable energy projects, both nationally and internationally. Mr. Wallace is responsible for managing a team of professionals who provide all renewable energy project development and management under all Bithenergy services, including renewable system financial modeling, construction financing, and debt/equity structures for multiple multi-megawatt utility scale projects. Noteworthy projects range across multiple renewable energy technologies including, but not limited to, wind, biomass, geothermal, and solar thermal systems, with a special emphasis on solar PV. Mr. Wallace’s international experience encompasses initiatives implementing such technologies as grid tied/grid-on-demand (G.O.D) and Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems (HRES). Mr. Wallace earned his B.S in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. He also pursued a Masters from Johns Hopkins University (Applied Physics Lab)



Mr. Cortes has a rich and unique background in the renewable power industry.  Henry’s expertise in engineering, procurement and construction, includes operations, project development, and operations and maintenance.  In his role as Vice President of Operations, Mr. Cortes leads Bithenergy’s field operation’s team and manages all EPC interaction.  He has operational oversight and leadership of the project development team, while developing and managing the company’s federal, commercial, industrial and utility-scale portfolio across the United States.

Prior to joining Bithenergy, in an executive capacity Henry participated in the development and negotiation of over 500MWs of photovoltaic projects. His experience includes organizational restructuring, market development, origination, energy and financial modeling, design system optimization, and successful entrepreneurship as an electrical contractor and commercial developer. 

Mr. Cortes earned his B.A. from the William Patterson University, holds a Master Electrical License, is NABCEP certified and has a Professional Project Management (PMP) certificate.


Corey Culbreath, PMP | Director, Energy Management Information Systems (EMIS) 

Mr. Culbreath is a PMI (Project Management Institute) certified project manager and a certified ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) professional with over 20 years of technical experience and 12 years of technical staff management and support for a variety of hardware/software platforms, operating systems, network components, and infrastructure initiatives. He is an experienced project manager trained in techniques that measure a project technical, schedule and cost performance. His expertise is in evaluating and incorporating emerging technologies in the enterprise, leading teams in the integration of disparate systems, planning large-scale roll-outs, and managing daily IT operations. Some of his experience includes: deployment of a two-phase Energy Management system for the State of Maryland; developed training module for utility documentation; integrated Energy agenda with state energy management plans and M & V for State energy reduction and savings.
