An Introduction to HRES™
Currently the US relies heavily on non-renewable sources of energy like coal, oil and natural gas. Electricity is generated primarily from burning these fossil fuels, causing an increase in harmful greenhouse gases which contributes to global warming. The US is working hard to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and increase our use of renewable energy sources like wind and solar.
After winning a coveted contract with the State of Maryland to provide energy management services that manages the State’s energy resources more accurately and efficiently, BITHENERGY’s engineers and scientists developed a ground-breaking hybrid renewable energy solution (HRES™) combining solar, wind and green roofs. HRES™ maximizes available renewable energy resources and can help residential, commercial and industrial property owners save money by producing their own energy for years to come. |

Benefits of HRES™
- Renewable energy is essentially inexhaustible making it a far more sustainable option.
- Renewable energy can be produced locally.
- Experts suggest that using renewable energy will result in more stable energy prices.
- The energy that you produce can be resold back to the grid.
- Government grants and tax credits are available.
- Renewable energy is safe and does not pose a threat to the earth, animals or humans.

HRES™ Components
BITHENERGY’s HRES™ system consists of the following components:
Wind Power
- Wind generates power to your location
- Wind turbines spin and catch the best wind, quietly generating clean energy.
- Power generated that is not used may spin your meter backward, lowering your energy bill.
|
Solar Photovoltaics (PV) Systems
- Energy from the sun is converted into electricity.
- Electricity powers household appliances directly, or hooked to a battery to store energy.
- Multiple units can be arranged in “arrays” for increased demand.
|
Solar Water Heating
- Water is heated using solar energy
- Hot water is provided anywhere at your location that requires hot water.
|
Green Roofs
- Green roofs absorb rainwater, provide insulation, and increase atmospheric oxygen.
- Green roofs provide protection for your building, drainage and irrigation systems.
