BITHENERGY realizes the benefits of introducing bright and talented individuals into our organization. Beyond the benefit to BITHENERGY, the students benefit from first-hand, practical, real-life work experience.

We also offer energy audit training and education to public housing residents and the underemployed.




Strategic Energy Consulting:
BITHENERGY has an extensive consulting practice. We provide management consulting for state, local and federal governments as well as corporate clients. The breadth of service includes energy management, strategic planning, organization development, operations research, information technology, and project management. BITHGROUP was founded over 16 years ago and has over 20 active clients located in Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, Tennessee and California.     Energy Projects

    Below are samples of BITH projects that are ongoing or recently completed that encompass energy-related elements:

    Energy Management Software
    Utility Bill Processing
    Utility Bill Analysis

    Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (Hancock Energy Software Implementation)
    Project requires implementing Hancock Energy Software for statewide Community Action Agencies. Rollout involves the state staff and all 22 CAP Agencies. Project consists of project management, software commissioning, training, hosting, data development and conversion, and help desk.

    Department of General Services (Utility Bill Processing) 
    BITH implemented ENERGYCAP software and built a utility bill database to manage the EmPower Maryland program. This is the initiative established by Governor O’Malley to reduce the power consumption by the State 15% by 2015. The contract requires project management, software management and implementation, maintenance of a web portal for state employees, training, and data collection.

    District of Columbia Department of Real Estate Services (Utility Bill Analysis) This project provides support for utility bill management and processing. In addition, BITH will provide user training and engineering support for performance contracting, LEED certification and EPA benchmarking.
